The Heart of Texas Down Syndrome Network offers grants up to $1000 for individuals who are 18 years old and older with a diagnosis of Down syndrome. The use of the grant is for pursuing opportunities for personal development. The recipient is chosen based on need. Applications must be submitted by February 28, 2026. 

 

Uses may include, but are not limited to:

-classes

-training

-vocational job coaching

-self help aides

-camps

-gym memberships

-therapy

 

Eligibility requirements for grant recipient:

-diagnosis of Down Syndrome

-reside in McLennan, Falls, Limestone, Hill, Bosque, Hamilton, or Coryell counties

-18 years or older
