The Heart of Texas Down Syndrome Network offers a grant to individuals with Down syndrome to assist in the cost of therapy services. The $1000 grant is given based on need. Applications must be submitted by September 15, 2025, and the recipients will be announced in October of 2025.

-physical 

-occupational

-speech

-feeding

-aquatic

-hippotherapy

-ABA
 

Eligibility Requirements for grant recipient:

          -diagnosis of Down Syndrome

          -reside in McLennan, Falls, Limestone, Hill, Bosque, Hamilton or Coryell county

          -therapy expense must be equal to or exceed $1000 for the year 2025

          -documented qualification for the therapy services

 

To submit your application complete the following:

• Ask the therapy location to email info@hotdsn.org with a receipt for services provided or a quote for approved services your child will be receiving. The $1000 grant will be paid directly to that business on your behalf.

• Email a copy of your 2024 tax statement to info@hotdsn.org for proof of income. If financial circumstances have changed since then, you will have the opportunity to explain through the google form. To be eligible, your child with Down syndrome must be listed as a dependent on the tax return.
